Alchemist has joined Piccallo team it is a low cost hi-quality alternative to conventional shooting

Methodology that effectively eliminates wastage thanks to small efficient crews, state of the art lighting technology and communication that allows for the client, agency and the local production House to be real  time contact all the time. Specialising in tabletop food and liquids, demo sequences, pack shots, re-working existing commercials or social with new packaging or a new product. Also shooting elements for post companies to reduce the amount of 3D work needed by adding real elements. Crew numbers are reduced to minimise cost and maximise efficiency.

This extremely practical system formulated by Alchemist Director/DOP Nick Sawyer allows for communication to all areas of production, which is essential when clients and agencies are too busy to attend or where travel and hotel costs are a budgetary consideration or safety is an issue. On-line monitors with HD cameras allow for real-time communication between client/agency and the production team. We use Skype and zoom in the studio, kitchen, client and edit/post-production areas. The studio has dedicated lease line internet to allow for clear communication and ultra-fast file uploads, designed to emulate an on set working scenario.
